If you give Hexxat Dragomir's Respite when she's in mist-form, she tells you; "I need you to hold on to this for me" over and over.

    Is your game patched @DLite‌ and if so, was the game started before the patch was released.

    Hexxat should only remain in mist form for a few seconds and she dropped the respite when I tried reproducing this.

    Game version should be 1.3.2064

    @DLite‌ just going back over this forum. Is Hexxat still in mist form for you, and if so do you need help (attach a zipped save if that's the case).
