Siding with Bodhi and Thief Stronghold Dynamic

in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
I was pondering what would be the implication to the game under these circumstances:

A. You Sided with Bodhi BEFORE completing Mae'Var quest under Renal Bloodscalp. Is that mean your thief character will never get a stronghold?

B. Your Thief character already get his stronghold and THEN side with Bodhi against Aran Linvail. Will you lose possession of your Thief Stronghold then? What the story dynamics be under this circumstances. The way I understand it is, Thief Stronghold is still under ruleship of Shadow Thief not Bodhi.

    The thing is Bodhi won't give an option to side with her if your CHARNAME is a thief. Simple as that.

    BTW, if you dual-class from the thief that has already got the stronghold and only then talk to Bodhi, you can side with her : ) http://forum.baldursgate.com/discussion/comment/412306/#Comment_412306

    You dual classed Thief character can have Thief stronghold AND sided with Bodhi afterall, even after you kill every last one of Shadow Thief in the city. It's not making any sense from the plot standpoint.

    I suppose this is a loophole which Bioware forgot to address in the original design of the game.
