Biography bug

Hi all, purchased BGEE since I remember the whole saga many times years ago. I rolled and rolled to get a 98 on a ranger and saved the character. Created a game, now at beregost but went to my char screen clicked on biography and it displays the bio for a mage when it clearly should be for a ranger. Also, no text on the characters mother that is usually displayed. As a test, I started a new game with the same character but the correct bio is displayed. Appears to be a bug that affected my current saved game only? Anyway, not a major annoyance I know but i wondered if this is a known issue and if there is a fix for it. Playing this game on Samsung galaxy s4 if that helps. TIA.

**** UPDATE: above info incorrect, it seems to happen when you use any character you choose after you've per generated them as just tried again as a test.

    I have the exact same problem, but with all newly generated characters. The mage bio is the only thing that shows up. Double checked the .bio files for the newly made characters, and the mage biography is in them. I have checked with new game in single-player and pre-generated characters. Playing this on windows 7 (used the manual installer).

    Edit: So, started a newgame with one of the pregen characters (Abdel). Went into customize biography. Cleared it, clicked cancel, clicked back in, hit revert, and proper bio was there. Also, new characters now appear to have correct bios in character creation. Does not appear to have fixed pregen character creation however.

    I have no clue what just happened.

    This seems to be the same bug as this one reported for BGII:EE:

    Indeed if you start a new game with a pre-generated character and save it, the default.toh file inside the savegame's .sav file contains one override string which is the Mage biography ("Inspired by your foster father's knowledge of the magical arts ...").
