Black screen

Hi I really wanted to replay Icewind so I installed Enchanced Edition but whenever I get to the game after character creation ,the screen just turns black. Everthing works beside that I can easily talk with npcs, open my equipment or even walk but I just can't see anything.
I'd appreciate any help
