Aloras Rabbit foot

Is there a reason that she isn't getting 10% open locks from it? She gets 10% in every thieving skill except open locks. This was something that beamdog added (which is awesome!) and i'm curious what is the thought behind not adding 10% open lock as well so she gets 10% in all thieving skills.

Maybe she uses the rabbit foot directly as lock pick and that doesn't work very well?

I'm curious if it's an oversight made by beamdog, or if they have any explanation for it.

Perhaps the rabbit hair clogged down the lock mechanics?

I think it may be an oversight, but have you calculated to see if she still did get the +10 % ? maybe they forgot to mention it, but still gave it to her, because I believe in the first game she had +10 % to all her thief skills because of that item if I am not mistaken

How would a rabbit foot help with lock picking? That would just be silly :P

I've tested it, she doesn't get 10% lock pick.

And how would a rabbits foot help with pickpocketing, set traps, detect traps, hide in shadow, move silent or anything else? :dizzy:

Well, it's obvious. Set trap? Throw it at the trap to make sure it's sturdy. Detect trap? Throw it at the ground to see if it's trapped. Detect illusion? Throw it at all the things to see if they're real. Pickpocket? Throw it at the targets face as a distraction. Hide in shadow? Throw it at the sun to blot out it's light. Move silently? Throw it at under your feet to muffle your steps. But Lockpicking? What, are you supposed to throw it at the lock to see if it unclicks? Now, that's just taking it too far :v

That thing has got luck on it, i bet you 10 gold coins that if you did throw it at a lock, it would unlock by itself! When Alora was kiting greywolf and eventually ran out of arrows, she said "Screw this" and whacked him over the head once with the foot, he got knocked down, hit his head on a rock behind him and died a few moments later.

    Do not underestimate... The foot.

Sounds like a bug. I mean the description for the item is correct but it is rather odd that it wouldn't give a bonus to this one thieving skill. I'll tag @Troodon80

That sounds very much like Alora's logic.

    I approve.
