[Not an Issue] Not enough disk space for installation

Hi I'm trying to update the game to the 1.3 version and the beamdog client keeps repeating that I have not enough disk space to download the update (obviously false).
I tried uninstalling the game and, guess what... when I start the client, the same message occurs, so now I cannot even play the older version of the game.....
any clue?

    that is a rather peculiar issue, could I suggest you download the stand-alone installer for the game and install it via that and see if you have any more success.

    though you could also try pointing the client to a different location for installing games maybe?? not sure on this one as i don't use the client myself.

    What's your OS and current disk space reported by it?

    thanks guys but I found out that it was a problem related to a Windows 7 update. It screwed up my laptop big time, but now everything is working as intended
