I don't know if this has been reported already and with horrible search and so on.
The executable looks for the file dialogf.tlk, but all intended instances of the file are named dialogF.tlk. Consequently, no female strings work and female PCs are addressed as if they were male instead.
This is with whatever version Steam is currently serving up. Edit: 1.3.2053
Edit: to reproduce:
Start the game in Spanish. Create a female PC with high charisma. Walk over to Imoen and tell her to bug off (option 2). She replies with "[...] Somos amigos [...]". The string found in dialogf.tlk is "[...] Somos amigas [...]". Optionally, rename the Spanish file dialogF.tlk into dialogf.tlk and repeat. You'll now get the correct string.
Alternatively, look at the file name inside the BaldursGate executable.
