The FAQ says cross-platform savegame support...

But how will that work between PC and iPad? Or will it?

    Yep it should do - I seem to recall rumblings that this might be a post ship feature though which will need to be patched in.

    I'm not quite sure how it would work...perhaps the game is designed to use the exact same safe files across platforms. However it works, this feature will be awesome if it's implemented.

    It would be really cool if I could roll a party on my PC, start playing, then transfer those files to a tablet and continue playing the same exact file.

    AFAIK You'll just have to transfer your files to the game via iTunes as you do with any other application. There's support to iCloud to be implemented at a later date as well.

    I don't mind manually moving them over, just curious how that would be handled. Thanks.

    Android version will probably allow you to directly access the savegame folder, of course.
