Ascension Mod for Mac Store Versions?

Does anyone here know if the old Ascension Mod will work or can work with my copy of BG2EE that I bought from the Mac App Store? I've tried downloading it and running subtledoctor's installer which let me install some Shadows of Amn mods but then when I tried the Ascension Mod I get a message stating that I don't have Throne of Bhaal when I most certainly do! Anybody able to help me out here?
