Cleric spells per day

The level 19 cleric gets 9 level one spells and 3 additional level one spells for 19 wisdom. The ring of holiness supplies an additional level one spell totalling 13 level one spells. The cleric scroll only has 12 spell slots for memorising spells. Does anybody know what happens to the additional spell? Is there a limit of 12 spells in BG2:EE?

You click a spell to memorize it. Same as always.

It doesn't show up as memorized in the spellbook, but you can here the sound of it being added, and after you rest, you will have the 9th spell. And if you want to erase it and replace it, you have to first erase a spell before it. The 9th spell will then appear in the 8th slot, at which point you can erase it.

Basically, the 9th spell slot is there, but does not show up on the screen. You don't have to do anything special to memorize the 9th spell.
