Spell Immunity Bug? Help appreciated.

So I've played through this game many times before, but I've always used a beserker to overcome demi-lich's. This time I try having a mage cast spell immunity, it seems to be instant-cast and....nothing happens. No menu pops up, nothing. Except for a cowled enforcer, forgot about them. Am I completely missing something or is this a bug, and if so any advice on how to fix it?

once you cast Spell Immunity you need to look at the toolbar and select the school you wish to be immune to. If you do not select a school or click on something else first the spell is wasted. If it helps I could get a few screen shots here for you.

    1. Cast spell immunity.

    2. Choose a school.

Gotcha! Thanks very much, not sure why I struggled so hard with that. I was expecting the menu to be something similar to when you select spells for a spell trigger/contingency, so i was prolly clicking on someone else/party button and ruining it.

If you ever use a wild mage, Nahal's Reckless Dowemer works the same way.

As does the Totemic Druid's spirit summon.
