Because I've been jamming CRJ's discography for a while now, I just have to post this...same album as "Call Me Maybe" but I find myself dancing in my seat and mouthing or singing the lyrics every time "Guitar String/Wedding Ring" plays like it is such a JAM and I love the production on it (and, as always, her voice is divine)
I'm in the midst writing a Shadowrun, and this album been on a near-continuous loop during the writing process (the main character is in a metal band that sounds just like this).
I'm not in a good mood really, but I have to share
Lucius. It's like my almost favorite band ever, heard them the first time by randomly going to one of their only shows in Belgium, never heard their music before. Now I dream to follow them everywhere only to listen to their music.
Remember this awesome Planescape: Torment trailer, featuring strange music that did not make it to the game? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7s2Qkx3lN5s That soundtrack was scraped. But it survived.
Here's a much longer, though softer reprise from its original composer. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fv_TIEgqmqk Lustmord is the man, Metavoid is the album if you want higher quality.
not really a big fan of the slideshow accompanying the music on this youtube link lmao, but I've always really thought this was the best opening track of any of Dylan's albums, really sets a great tone for listening to the rest of the album in a lot of ways
always loved the dual meanings behind being stoned in the Biblical sense for doing things like "trying to keep your seat" (i.e. the civil rights movement in the U.S. at the time and African Americans trying to even just sit where they want on a bus) and other allusions to kinds of extraordinary and everyday examples of bravery and defiance and doing things differently...but also, y'know, gettin' stoned

This isn't D&D, really.
