SPOILERS

After I leave the underdark, I cannot access trademeet, windspear hills, or the temple of Amaunator. This wouldnt' be a HUGE deal, except for 2 things. 1, I cannot cure Aerie of vampirism after Bodhi kidnapped her. 2. I had intended to go back and kill the red and shadow dragon after I got out and was a bit more powerful.

They are not greyed out, they are just not there. Now, as for the temple of amaunator to cure Aerie, I got the books and bodhis heart. I wen to the temple of Oghma. And I went to the book merchant in umar hills. But I cannot get access to the temple. I could do without the dragons, but I had JUST spent 60k on spells for Aerie, and of course no save before it to undo. So I need her back. Help!

Edit**
Upon further inspection, every area I had access to, including watchers keep, before the underdark is now gone. The only places I have access to are new areas after leaving the underdark, and umar hills for some reason. I had played the vast majority of the game, done most of the quests I could do before going to brynnlaw, the asylum, and the underdark. It's like my map was wiped clean.

Oh, and I'm playing it on android, a note pro 12.1, it isn't modded, I started the game through there, no imports, nothing.

    Hi @laxton19
Initial thought is that your save file has been corrupted, if that't the case there is little that can be done other than go back to an earlier save if you have one.

If you can attach the save here we'll have a look in case it is something else. Using something like ES File Explorer the path is
    Android > Data > com.beamdog.baldursgateiienhancededition > files > save and we'd need the entire 0000nnnnn-savename folder.
    Thanks

I've had a similar problem, where I have been unable to return to world map areas that I have already unlocked, and previously visited.

Try travelling to the gate district of Athkatla, and then exiting through the main gate (You have to exit through this gate or it wont work). That worked foe me and allowed me to return to the blocked areas.

There you are, my quicksave file is uploaded. It's the most recent. Please fix it. This is my favorite game of all time and was VERY excited about playing it on my tablet. It was going well, but I do not have the time to restart the game (I've put a lot of hours in it). As a side note, since this is a save for my tablet, would this save work on a PC version of the game? If so, I can use that to open the console and "cheat" my way to a few of the areas. This isn't a great solution, but it might fix the issue. However, i would have to buy the PC version too...and I'm not to excited to have to buy the game again.

Genryu, I appreciate the advice but it didn't work. The problem is the areas aren't greyed out, they simply are not there. It's like they don't exist on the world map. I hope we can get it worked out.

Hi @laxton19 I will look in more detail later but I've added Windspear, Trademeet and the temple area back. You may find the areas are OK, they might have been reset entirely or they could be mix & match.

Hopefully it was just the world map that had been lost. If you want any other areas opening shout. & yes the save works cross-platform so you could continue on PC if you wished.
    Thanks

Yes, please add watchers keep, and the area that the wild mage asks you to visit (I can't remember her name...starts with an N....one of the DLC characters.)

    And thank you!
