Okay, so, the EE doesn't automatically assign colors based on the chosen portrait. I have no real opinion on that. But, for those who care, and don't have a copy of original Icewind Dale handy, here is some handy reference for all original Icewind Dale portraits' colors, including the IWD2 portraits added into the EE.
