Suggest BG2:EE mods for me
![moody_mage](https://forums.beamdog.com/uploads/userpics/981/n5OBABUBX9L25.jpg)
I've been out of the playing loop for a while and am not up to date on what mods have been updated for EE. I'm intending to start a new BG2 game and would like to mod it up.
So hit me with your recommendations please!

Ding0's Quest Pack contains many interesting quests and quest expansions.
Unfinished Business restores cut content (quests, items, portraits) and ties up many loose ends.
Almateria's Restoration Project: Another mod that restores unused or cut content.
Wheels of Prophesy: Greatly improves the storyline of ToB and makes it somewhat less linear.
Keto NPC: My favorite NPC. She's an unkitted bard with lots of high quality dialog content, a small quest and outstanding voice-acting.
Afaaq, the Djinni Companion: (shameless self-promotion) Features the djinni Afaaq as an NPC who will join you as a "seventh party member". He is linked to several interesting quest.
Baldur's Gate II Tweaks provides many components that make the game more convenient. The components "Commoners Use Drab Colors" and "Faster Chapter 1&2 Cut-Scenes & Dreams" have some compatibility issues with BG2EE however.
Weimer's Item Upgrade lets Cromwell or Cespenar upgrade additional items. Imo, it's somewhat overpowered.
Lighting Pack: Shader Scripts for the Enhanced Edition: A simple mod which lets you adjust brightness, contrast and gamma (like in the original BG2).
I've also heard good things about Rogue Rebalancing and Item Revisions. The latter one is still in beta, afaik.
Item Revisions and Spell Revisions are two other mods that I can highly recommend, though as mentioned above they are both currently in Beta; however, it's a near-release build, and they are extremely compatible and practically bug-free. If you want some fresh air in your game, and balance out some of the more problematic cheese that survived into the EE (as well as make some underused stuff more appreciated) then give them a try!
Aside from that I've always enjoyed the deArnise Romance mod, giving Nalia a very well-written, engaging, and mature (not in the sense of explicit, but in the sense of sensible and grown-up) romance.
BGTweaks is also an all-time favorite, giving many options to fiddle with details, ranging from QoL and graphical enhancements to class/kit and romance "cheats" like removing race restrictions etc. It is HIGHLY customizable.
And last but not least let us not forget the most important mod of all, Dungeon-Be-Gone! It does exactly what it says, i.e. it allows you to essentially skip the starting dungeon. A life-saver for everyone with chronic restartitis!
I recommend SCS above everything as it keeps the game fresh and challenging. Item randomiser is also excellent for replay value and excitement.
ATweaks is a lot like SCS but on a smaller scale. A lot of the focus of ATweaks is on changing certain things in the game to be more like how they are in PnP. It adds AI and abilities to certain monsters so they are more like their PnP counterparts. It changes certain spells and classes to make them more like PnP as well. Highly recommended.
BGTweaks is a must have even if you only use it to have unlimited stacks of arrows
