Xzar and Montaron left the party

in Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition
Well unfortunately Xzar and Montaron could not stand my niceness for any longer and left the party. I only steal stuff and I guess that doesn't cut it. Kinda sucks, but I knew it was coming. So, it ended up being my Human Fighter (18 18 18 8 8 10 bow and axe) along with Imoen, Khalid, and Jaheira. I was thinking about getting Misnc and Dynaheir, but I decided to get Ajantis and Xan. Unfortunately they are low levels, but I can train them. Think these make good editions to the party?

    Sure.

    But if haven't visited an area yet like Baldur's Gate, you can pick up the NPCs there who will be more scaled to your party.

    Depending on which areas you visited:
    Replacing Monty you have:
    Alora (thief) in Baldur's Gate
    Coran (fighter/thief) in Cloakwood
    Safana (thief) on the coast

    Replacing Xzar you have less options
    Quayle (cleric/illus) outside of Baldur's Gate
    Eldoth (evil bard) in Cloakwood but may not join due to alignment who is partnered up with Skie (thief)

    Quayle and Coran would be my choices for replacements.

    I would stay away from Xan if you don't like his negative nature of if you want to cast fireballs. To replace him I would go with any full mage you can find. You might try Neera if you are playing on EE. She is in Beregost.
