I am looking for a coder to develop a kit mod for BGEE and BG2EE. The aim of this mod is to introduce three new druid kits (Hivemaster, Outlaw and Wanderer) and three new barbarian kits (Amazon, Forest Lord and Ravager). They are based on their AD&D descriptions.

If you are interested, I can send you my draft and work together.

    @subtledoctor Thanks for your reply!

    (Btw you can't make barbarian kits - barbarian is just a fighter kit that happens to sit in its own menu. But you could code those as fighter kits.)

    Oh, crap.
    Since Sorcerers and Monks can now have kits, I thought that it was the same for Barbarians.
    Well, it is not a problem - I can code the kits for the Fighter class, as you suggest :)

    Can you make kit abilities in Near Infinity or DLTCEP? That's step one.

    If you make the .spl files for any sbilities, I'd be happy to turn it into an installable mod.

    Okay. I can try that.
    I have a friend of mine who can draw icons for the new abilities :)

    To be clear you are obviously free to do whatever you would like with your mod. This is just meant to be an informative post.

    The Amazon doesn't have to be Fighter kit. Technically in the Complete Fighter's Handbook to its brought up as a Warrior kit. So you could have like a Ranger or Paladin that was a Amazon as well. Paladin Amazon might be a bit more difficult to justify though :)

    Whether or not you want something like that is up to you. Just giving you the heads up. I'm assuming you were going for more of a barbarian vibe when it comes to one.

    In the very end, I realized that if you want to develop a mod, the best thing you can do is learning how to mod on your own :)
