{Spoilers) Underdark - Western Tunnels animal sacrifice for demagorgon

So I obtained the Kuo Tao prince blood and placed it on one of the shelves and nothing happens.

What else am I missing? Have an elder Orb eye don't know what that is for? Elder Brain Blood but they don't work.

Also becoming a DROW by Adalon doesn't allow you entry into the doors within the western tunnels - the part where there are Drow and skeletons guarding it. Not the part that leads to Ust Untha in the main map.

The Kuo Toa prince's blood, the elder Orb's eye and the Elder Brain have nothing to do with the animal sacrifice for Demagorgon. Those items are needed for a quest in Ust-Natha.

Summon an animal and kill it there to see what happens next.

You have to enter Ust-Natha and start completing quests there to move further in the story. The door that is closed is also connected to the story.

You just need to walk the summoned critter over the sacrifice bit.

You need a summoned unit of any kind, and you need to move them to the central altar-like area (the little round-ish platform thing in front of the statue). The creature will die once it's in the right place (no need to kill it yourself) and the ritual will be complete.

Note that you can use pretty much ANY summoned unit for this, including things like Simulacra (Vhailor's Helm is an easy source of that). It doesn't have to be something specific, any random summoned monster will also do just fine.
