    Made it into the 2nd dead magic room after the 1st demon you talk to in WK lvl3. No buffs or magic allowed from my nearly all caster party means that as I feared I did indeed get my ass handed to me.

    I hate dead magic. Hate hate hate.

    Moved on to the asylum instead.

    The Dead Magic should be much easier with fighter HLAs. WK is not meant to be attempted in pre-underdark SoA. You can do it maybe, but its not something you should expect to blast through.
