as of june 2015 - are the bugs sorted enough to warrant purchase _currently in steam sale

in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
Ive read many reports of both how great the EE edition is and also reports on many bugs which ruin the experience. these mostly are posts from mid 2014

did the ee edition get fixed, is it worth investing 150+ hours into on my windows 8 machine?

    The bugs have been sorted out and in the future we'll get even more patches.

    It's worth to invest a lot of hours into it, yes.

    And you can wait just 4 days for the Beamdog Father's Day Sale on June 21, to buy the game directly from the Developers, and not from Steam.
