Thanks for keeping us entertained! For completionists sake:
You can spare the guard's life at Galvena's Festhall by both fetching the medallion and hire a prostitute to get you into the building. Steps: -get the medallion -hire a prostitute -ask her/him to help (you'll get a sleeping draught) -give the draught to the cook, she makes you a sleeping turmix -the young girl in the kitchen will help you to get rid with the guards (she will make them drink the sleeping mix) -the tricky part: if asked by the guards, you shouldn't tell them, that you are a new recruitment, you must apologize them and tell that you leave immadietly. -if the guards are passed out you can collect the key from galvena's wardrobe and finally comes the killing part. Of course, it's much easier just to rush through and bash everyone's skull.

I... actually did not know ANY of that. Maybe you should take over the LP, you're clearly the real master here.
Part 12 live! And I would make a funny comment about it as is my wont, but I had to basically post it twice because all the picture links were dead, so I am far too annoyed.
I always think the expression "jumped the shark" was the inspiration for this whole eprsode. It makes no sense whatsoever.
I remember the first time playing and I genuinely thought I had done something wrong, gone the wrong way, just basically busted the game. And that I would have to restart and not go with Simon and take the shortcut instead.
Nowadays of course it's just a fun killing spree, especially as you learn to dislike the sahuagin more and more.
There's a bit in the BG1 NPC project which introduces the sahaugin, a good miniquest if you have Kivan in the party. They are without doubt, complete bastards, inbreeding leading to madness is not an excuse.
Part 13 Live! And I assume it really is unlucky, because the reason it's up so late in the day is that I literally forgot to finish it and just went out after work to rake leaves, had a late dinner, took a leisurely shower, sat down to watch Supergirl, etc. Ummmmm.... oops? XD
Part 14 is live! In which the drow are jerks, the mind flayers are jerks, the demon is a total jerk, and Zuko may just be the biggest jerk of them all.
Part 16 live. I... totally may have finished this late at night, set it up to post at a later time, then forgot that I did that and only just now remembered to tell people about it.
Just caught up with the last two installments, thank you, funny as always.
And "of course we want to see the bards". As if we would let you get away without meeting Haer D'alis and the possible conflict over Aerie. Not to mention boots of speed as a reward in the Planar Prison.

@Moczo , that was fun for me to read. I always avoid fighting Thaxy, the Twisted Rune, and Kangaxx, so after all these years, I'd never watched somebody get the components of Crom Faeyr, or reconstruct and defeat Kangaxx, much less done it myself. Very interesting.
I think all of those things were meant to be Easter Eggs in the game that only the most hardcore players would find, and I guess I've never been all that hardcore. Of course, nowadays, there's a whole BG subculture of hardcore players like you who know exactly what to do to find and defeat all those "bonus bosses", and consider them a routine part of every run.
I'm curious how SCS changes these fights. Would your same strategies work in an SCS game?
I chuckled a little bit at your questions because they called me 'hardcore' in the same breath as asking a question I can't answer, because I've actually never tried SCS at all. XD
I seriously doubt the strategies I use would work there, though, because everything I've heard suggests it ups the difficulty by a huge deal. And since I cheerfully admit to mostly playing for the story and characters, which I never get truly tired of, a giant difficulty spike isn't something that draws me in.
@Moczo , I don't like SCS either, or difficulty enhancing mods in general. So, it's nice to meet someone else who doesn't like it. We're a minority around here.
It's a very short update, but that's mostly because it ends on a vote for the masses: Who gets left behind in the Hell dimension so we can bring our super-secret new party member?! Fun times!
It's okay to leave someone in Hell, because we're heroes.
I don't know if it's too late to vote, but I say kick Edwin, so you'll have a better balanced party.
Imoen and Aerie can more than take care of your arcane magic needs, so having Edwin makes unnecessary duplication of skills at the cost of either a really good fighter or a really good fighter-cleric, both of which will be much more useful than Edwin at this point in your game.
I just want to apologize for the schedule slip on my BG2 let’s play. I genuinely don’t mean to, but it’s been a rough month full of overtime at work, slipping in and out of sickness, and compounded by a loss in the family this week. It’s been hard to get anything at all written, period, particularly keeping up the schedule I’d been in before. Just... ugh. Tired.
@Moczo , Thanks for the new updates. I'm getting to see things in ToB I've never seen before. I've always been too goody-goody to get the silver pantaloons in SoA, so I'd never seen the completed artifact armor. Looks like the big drawback is that any caster using it loses the ability to cast.
I've also never seen the dialogues with Imoen, Sarevok, Anomen, and a developed Aerie romance, either.
I actually don't enjoy ToB that much, so I've only ever completed it once, and I rarely stay with a run long enough to get into ToB (often stopping at the end of SoA, or just a little ways into ToB before losing interest), so I'm especially enjoying reading and seeing all this content I've missed over the years.
Kudos on your expert knowledge as a player. You really know this game inside and out, right to the end of ToB.
So to all of the three readers on a good day: the game is almost over. Literally like, half an hour of content left. Crazy, right? Which means it’s time for one of those voting things. Do we just finish it up, or does anyone want to see the Big Damn Bonus Dungeon? Watcher’s Keep is fun to play, unlike Durlag’s Tower from the first game, so I do not object to running it. But I don’t want to bother if nobody cares, y’know? Sooooo let me know how you really feel.

But he does it for justice, so it's okay.
Part 15 Live! Because saving elves is lame, so let's go stop druids and...
...
That's actually kind of lame too, huh...
Part 16 live. I... totally may have finished this late at night, set it up to post at a later time, then forgot that I did that and only just now remembered to tell people about it.
It's possible.
And "of course we want to see the bards".
As if we would let you get away without meeting Haer D'alis and the possible conflict over Aerie. Not to mention boots of speed as a reward in the Planar Prison.
Yes, I am aware I have not posted anything in two weeks after saying I would be taking one week off.
I believe this is within my human rights. Probably in the Constitution somewhere.
Dammit I wish I had read this yesterday.

And part 2 is live! In which we're only hit with two random sidequests, which kinda makes me think the game is slipping.
(Also, I have to say I'm laughing a little bit at the unanimous vote for kicking Edwin out. He truly is the one we love to hate. XD)
A week late, but I got it! It still counts! I know it counts because I say it does.
Part 4 Live, and God it took me too long. But in my defense, uuuuuuuuuugh.
First of all, five and live rhyme.
Second of all, hey, actually did this one on schedule! I'm almost proud of myself.
I've also never seen the dialogues with Imoen, Sarevok, Anomen, and a developed Aerie romance, either.

Part 6 Live, and the beginning of WK per everyone wanting it.
And it wasn't put up so late in the day because I forgot about it. Really.
Shhhhhhhhhhhhh don't talk.
