Nothing to do with Baldur's Gate and not even remotely a cRPG, but am I the only one excited about this?

    Yea it's nice, but Ill be probably waiting for the mod to get to Steam. (It will eventually)
    @Bjjorick Black Mesa is Half life, a fps.

    IMO Steam and the modders should have timed a release together to benefit both, it would be quite perfect since it's their game and the HL name really could use a revival... unless they really have given up on ep3...

    I'm definitely excited. I just beat Half-Life for the first time earlier this year and I can't wait to see all the improvements.

    Btw, Black Mesa is just a Source version of Half Life

    2. Black Mesa is the game with the Source graphics/AI/engine/everything
    HL:S was just a port to Source keeping the same graphics/AI/engine/etc

    Ahh okay so it's a Source port of Half-Life 1, and highly improved graphics. Nice, I might actually experience Half-Life 1 at some point soon then. Sad to say I never have. Played through HL2 and its episodes though... best science fiction plot of all time if you ask me. Very compelling, super scary, and downright believable. On top of that the gameplay is actually pretty good.

    I dunno though. The level layout, and everything probably will be nowhere near as good as Half-Life 2 and I'll be disappointed.

    It's been greenlit so it should be on steam. It looks good, been following it for a while, just hope it gets finished.
