in Off-Topic
so i am playing the original baldurs gate 2 just left the circus and the game crashes everytime i do something please help (i have windows 7)

    Ok, few questions:

    Are you playing from disc?

    Do you have baldurdash installed?

    Are you using any mods?

    Are you crashing during the transition? Before? Right after?

    2) No
    3) No

    1. Make sure Disc isn't scratched. I use to have the same problem attempting to go into the thieves guild and it was due to my disc being destroyed.

    2. install it from here: http://www.baldurdash.org/fixes.html

    3. ok, so it isn't a mod problem

    4. So waukeen's promenade is loading up?

    I would recommend you look into installing the BG2 fixpack instead of baldurdash.

    one thing that might also help is to run bg2, is run it in compatibility mode as windows xp

    it loads up for a few seconds then crashes
