IOS (ipad) - Can't get out of Drow city

Hi everyone I have a slight problem playing Baldurs Gate 2 SOA on IOS (Ipad Air 2). I got to the drow city and the part where Phaere asks us to go talk to her within an hour (I googled and this is where she suggests betraying the matron mother). The problem is I did a side mission on the way and went overtime. When I went to Phaere in the female guildhall she was there for a split second then disappeared. I have no earlier save so decided to go kill the matron mother to get out. However the matron mother is not there. At this stage I have no save to go back to where I could just go back to Phaere on time.

I thought I managed to work around this when I went to the temple and killed everyone there - apart from the matron mother who is not there - and the doors to the dragon eggs unlocked so I managed to get those. I fought my way back through the city to the exit... which is where some drow informed me the city has been sealed and I cannot get out.

At this stage I am genuinely stuck:
- Phaere is nowhere to be seen
- Matron mother is nowhere to be seen
- City is sealed
I have the eggs but just want to get out.. does anyone have any suggestions or fixes please? I really do not want to start again as I have put loads of hours into this save, and I cannot go back to an earlier save.

if you can somewho enable the cheat console into your game ( no idea how to do that on ipad, but there might be a way somewhere) use the cheat console to warp out of there using the MoveToArea cheat

Usually in a situation like this you have to kill everyone in the city, and I really mean everyone!!!

There's no way to enable the console. I had a look at this either Friday or yesterday and at this stage killing everyone in the city does not appear to help (believe that may only work when you drop your disguise so if Phaere is dead I can't see a way to do that).

The only options I can see are if the saves are accessible via iFunbox (unlikely), wait for a BGII:EE update which enables save exports or go back to an earlier save if you had one.

I had the same thing happen on PC. This isn't even the first game breaking glitch I've come across.

@lelag200 if you're still stuck the PC version can have either console commands applied or you can zip and attach a save to the linked thread so we can get you sorted. Have the other issues you've encountered been reported in the list of known issues.
