Game is not saving games, cant load saved games

in Icewind Dale: Enhanced Edition
Greetings, I recently installed this game. I played for a couple of hours using quick save and then a save before i quit to windows. When I came back to the game there were no saved games. I tried again this morning, just making a party and trying a save. It shows no saved games. I am running windows 10 and all the latest drivers, updates. Anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it?

    A number of topics have popped up regarding Windows 10. This is either to do with the update process, or to do with OneDrive (depending on your circumstance). More information in this topic.
