    Depends.

How long are you willing to wait for the anticipated Baldur's Gate 2 expansion, dubbed Project Torment (named so just to troll the PS:T beggars)?

    Nice!

Hopefully they programmed it so it works offline too, so we can enjoy the achievements awards without needing to be connected to the internet. Really, no one else needs to know but you!

Here's some off the wall suggestions!

Black on Black - Slayed Maelestor Rex-an.

Dark Places - Entered the caverns beneath Dragonspear Castle.

Speared At Last - Struck a bargin with the fiendish Vesarius.

Dragon Slayer - Awoke and defeated the green dragon.

The Roaring Deep - Found the Mushroom Forest.

Sunshine of Pain - Sided with the Knights of Ilmater.

Allied Beards - Sided with the Dwarves of Illefarn.

Misty Memories - Sided with the Misty Forest Elves.

Being a Farmer - Navigated safely through Farmer's Gate.

A Journey Less Traveled - Arrived safely at the Way Inn.

Druid's Path - Met the Keeper of the Woods.

High Adventure - Arrived to the High Moors.

A Watery Grave - Made Florfindyn's underground river trek.

Twisting Turns - Round and round one goes through the Labyrinth.

They added 3 steam achievements for Baldurs Gate. Does this mean this expansion is coming out soon?

You have to be online to get Steam achievements and I'm not sure how they would program it to work offline.

If achievements check works on global variables, I reckon getting online just one moment and loading the game will trash you back all the achievement you "lost" when offline.

Steam achievements (and other similar systems) all work offline. They get cached by the client software and uploaded to the server next time you go online. So they are "local" until then (ie, no one else can see them).

Wow if that's true that's incredible, I didn't know that.
