    Having Koveras’ ring also proves your charname can’t read backwards

    Hmm good point, might work for my recent illiterate 5 int charname... and good thing even an illiterate can "read" tomes or he would be a 4 int charname^^

    With the Claw, you will have to worry about those saves vs. death, which to me is a drag. The Helm is more universal, albeit a bit weaker on the bonuses.
