Right, but that happens with non-kitted caster classes anyway, regardless of what the second class is. A level 7 cleric / 39 Kensai is going to be much better at being a Kensai than he is at being a cleric. A level 7 cleric / 39 mage (no kit) is going to be a lot better at casting wizard spells than at casting priest spells.
In the end, a dual-class character is more potent than a single-class character simply by virtue of having more levels. Adding kits into the mix isn't going to change that. The margin of difference between kit and no-kit doesn't grow exponentially (or at least not by a significant exponent) as you gain levels.
