flagging spam got myself flagged as a spammer!

Just now I saw two spam topics appear in the recent discussion list (about a website to buy Runescape Gold with bitcoins) and opening them both and flagging as spam was quickly done. So quick, that I got the message "You have posted 1 times within 60 seconds. A spam block is now in effect on your account. You must wait at least 300 seconds before attempting to post again."
So by flagging spam I myself got flagged as a spammer! I sure foresee problems if lots of spam posts need to be reported. We'd need to make deals: You flag this one, I flag this, he flags this, as flagging them all as a single user gets you into problems.
And now I got to wait 5 minutes before I can post this...

When you "flag" a post, a new thread is immediately created, and a new additional post is put there (in a restricted forum area) - both the OP in that thread and the next post are counted as posts of the forum user who flagged a post.
And there's nothing wrong in it - it gives a good illustration of who is flagging posts the most, i.e. helping to make the forum better.
trying to flag this as spam in offtopic got me blocked for spam.
