Problem with proficiencies

in Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition
I have some weapons that the proficiency system doesn't seem to work with. For example, most daggers go into short swords, but some still list proficiency: dagger. Is this a common problem? I did mod my game so could be some clash there.

Is it possible to change weapon's proficiency group in eekeeper or something?

    Not sure I understand your problem but it sounds like something only "near infinity" or the like could solve. It's a pretty self explanatory program, just find the items you want to change and change their proficiency. Could be quite time consuming though.

    I am guessing that some of your mods are incompatible with BG:EE.
