    Branwen is very useful and Imoen is great, but Minsc just rules them all (or was it that other guy...)!

    Only had good parties and Minsc has always been a part. We`ll see what happens when i get bg:ee and do an evil run.

    When I started these polls I pretty much expected things to go the way they have (ie - Minsc, Viconia, Imoen and Xzar doing well) but two things have really surprised me: Edwin and Xan.

    I've always dismembered Edwin on sight, and depressing Xan got left in his depressing hole. But apparently more than a few of you find both of these characters amusing. I might have to give them more of a chance.

    I voted for Viconia.
    It was a hard choice: Viconia, Edwin or Minsc?
    But in the end I just went for it without a second thought because I knew that the poll winner was a foregone conclusion anyway.

    It was betwean edwin and minsc...but Minsc wins :)

    She had me at "Heya, It's me, Imoen." Love her lines throughout BG1, and she's the perfect sidekick. In BG2 she's more of a tortured soul, and not as likeable (for my taste), but what are ya gonna do? And none of that is her fault.

    Not surprised to see Minsc and Viconia in the leads. They're terrific characters & I have them in almost all my parties.

    But my favorite will always be Edwin. Especially in BG1. Every time I click on him and he yells, "You are SO ANNOYING," it just cracks me up.

    @Brude Yeah i agree. iam not shocked that they are winning. They are both awesome. I just prefered them both in BG2 :)

    Edwin all the way. His lines are just too funny, in both BG1 and BG2.

    In my books my favorite BG1 NPC's close to being tied are:
    Viconia, Minsc, Edwin, Shar Teel, Safana. I also liked Branwen, Dynaheir, Kagain, Xzar, and Imoen.

    My swashbuckler had a tumultuous love affair with Viconia, so my vote is quite biased.

    I can't take it very seriously because in my gameplay she usually says "I feel so cold" when she gets hit with a Fireball or Lightning Bolt.

    YES IT IS . "Heya , it's me ,Imoen ..."
    I always remember this voice when first time I step out of Candle keep . So damn warm .

    Even though Safana was worse than Imoen, I still had to have her in my party, ye I know, I'm cheap.
