Animated Dead with Cloudkill

Observed: Animated Dead moving within a party originated Cloudkill turn hostile to the caster.

Expected: Animated Dead should not even notice the Cloudkill spell, since it does not harm them.

Grasping at game mechanics here, but would it be possible to give them specific spell immunity to Cloudkill so that the damage doesn't even touch them to be "immuned"?

It is unclear from the in-game spell description whether Undead (or any other non-living creatures) are intended to be immune to this spell as per the DnD spell description.

Currently Undead creatures are only immune to Cloudkill in IWD:EE. In BG2 Undead may be immune to the poison damage but are still affected by the spell itself.

Yeah, that's sort of the problem, I believe.

    Skeletons are immune to poison.
Taking damage makes skeletons turn violent.
Cloudkill deals 0 poison damage to them.
Because they take damage, the skeleton turns hostile.

Making them immune to the spell entirely is a bit of a cludge, but it would get around the whole "ally turning hostile from something that shouldn't bother them in the slightest".

    Hi
I'm pretty sure this is covered by another ticket - will dig around.
    Thanks
