Multiplayer Crashing

I'm having issues playing with a friend. My game keeps crashing very frequently.
He has installed BG1NPC Project v22 and I also installed it, although some of our settings and certain preferences were different. I'm not sure if everything has to line up 100% the same for it to work or not..
I tried uninstalling on my end BG1NPC project but the crashing still happened.
Is this a case of the mod not working for multiplayer or do both parties have to have the exact same installation configuration for multiplayer to work?
When I try to upload the DMP it says the file type is not allowed...

Multiplayer installs should be the same, otherwise differences such as scripts or dialogues can cause issues. It would depend what was different. A dmp file is intended to help in unmodded installs and wouldn't be of much use where you have two different setups. For reference though, the forums would accept a zipped dmp file.
In terms of what you could do;
- Install and test unmodded.
- Add the same mods/options to both games.
- Try to identify any pattern to the crash, e.g. always the host/client, saves, area transitions, combat, dialogue, stores, etc.
