Steam achivements active?

in Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition
Just wondering if anybody knows if these steam achievements are active

Noticed they added a ton of them for both games since last night. One of them says "Complete the game on Legacy of Bhaal difficulty" which tells me that it's probably for Siege of Dragonspear or some upcoming patch..

Do any of the other achievements work or are they not active yet?

    According to http://blog.beamdog.com/2016/02/beamdog-achievements.html, "You might see achievements for our games on Steam but be unable to access them. That's because we're still internally testing the achievements to make sure they're fully functional when they go live in the next update. We'll post again here when that happens."

    So, the achievement system is still in the works, they're not available to players.

    They're not active yet. We mentioned we're testing the achievements in a blog post a few weeks back. http://blog.beamdog.com/2016/02/beamdog-achievements.html

    We'll put up a post on the blog and here when they're active. :)

    So probably several months away then huh? I will probably postpone my next playthrough until they are active.

    Can't wait the time, anyway! Baldur's Gate + achievements it's a very nice combo!

    Yeah I'm very excited to play with achievements although I'm not sure the game needed any. Steam achievements has altered how I play games so I hope it doesn't affect me too much on Baldurs Gate.

    This is funny stuff. I once gave modder-now-dev CamDawg a promote (4yrs ago?) for making fun of achievement assignment in BG (hilarious mockery). I just got a couple myself though, so I know it's working...

    I wish the game would have just stayed without achievements but I'm also considerate enough to be happy for people who really want them.

    If there was a global switch to remove all achievements from Steam, for just my account obviously, I would use it.

    EDIT: They work if you play the Beta ... just FYI.
