Pierce Magic Bugged

in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
I rember clearly taht this spell of 6 level lowers the % of magc resistence, but in the EE it seems doesnt...
is it bugged?

    Maybe u can try updating to v2.0 and see if the bug gets fixed

    Did you use it on demogorgon or somethinglike that?

    It works for me.

    On the subject of PM, it seems to bring down Melissan's combat protections, where Breach would on other monsters. I find that a bit strange.

    For some reason, Melissan's Stoneskin spell counts as a spell protection. No idea why, but that's what's driving that difference.
