    @Coriander I'm from Toronto so I've certainly heard Bachelor (for bachelor apartment), Fire Hall (though that I would associate with being a very British/old term for some reason), Parkade (rarely used), Washroom (used pretty much everywhere), Gasbar (very old school terminology), Boozcan (likewise I've heard the term used before but not casually by anyone I've met who is under 40 years old), Tims/Timmy's/Timmies (used by anyone who goes to Tim Hortons). I could go on but you get the point. For the most part I'd say the wikipedia page is accurate, but Canada is a big country and more regional than Canadians probably even realise.

    this thread started about cats being eaten alive and now it's taken a much darker turn toward Canadian dialects.
