Unable to start a game with X kit in the creation screen. (Multiplayer Custom party)

Had this problem for a while now, wasn't really an issue previously as I don't usually play kits like Shadowdancer, Blackguard, Cleric/Ranger.

However, it's become a problem now and I would like to fix this ASAP. I could use Shadowkeeper to get over the issue and have the abilities installed, but that takes far too much time on top of the detailed customisation I already do to my characters.

Edit: Now I cant make any new characters, apparently. I can start my games with the current parties they have, but I cannot add any new characters. I am unable to attach the appropriate crash file to this specific issue.

Which game is this for, and what is the minimum reproduction step to experience the issue. e.g. start a new multiplayer game and generate a new Shadowdancer - crash observed on generation screen when abilities button is pressed.

& please advise what platform (pc, mac, etc.), if the game is modded, and if the characters have been pre-generated and edited - not sure what you mean by detailed customisation.

EE Keeper would be used for Enhanced Editions, so far as I'm aware Shadowkeeper is not intended for use with them.
    Thanks

    @Gate70

    Baldur's Gate 2:EE.
Creating any kit (Vanilla included), finishing the character, pressing the "ready" button and then clicking start causes the game to crash. I've experienced this before, but it was usually only for Cleric/Ranger.

Created during the multiplayer lobby screen.
    No mods.
    PC, Windows 7.

I'm still able to play Single player mode with a created character.

    Detailed customisation via EEKeeper.
This is mostly just alignment shifting if I made it wrong or need to go for true neutral (since I always forget) to make a druid dual class, colour management or "Use Any item" to get over class locking on equipment. Nothing that has usually affected the game, I do it to all of my characters and have done since Shadowkeepers initial release.

OK, I would suggest doing these things with a new game in steps to see if you can narrow a cause down. You'll need to close the game down after each test before moving files.
    - Check your folders for any invalid files, e.g. a sql file in the portrait folder and so on.
    - Rename your mpsave folder to see if a newly created one resolves the issue.
    - Move the content of your portrait, character and sounds folders elsewhere.
    - Add the above back one folder at a time.

Would it just be faster if I could send you the crash file?

It appears to be specific to you, so likely to be something like the contents of those folders.
