The log says Pallegina deadly pierced the lich. However do you see the little mushroom right just where concelhaut performs his final looping? In truth this is an attack ... from below!
The cipher was about to paralyse the will-debuffed lich.
It's the popular game lantaner musketeer, what you see on that picture. The players stand in a circle, facing each other. One person -the game master- stand in the middle, slowly rotating. Suddenly the GM stops, and puts the finger on somebody in the circle. The one pointed on must crouch, while the two neighbour person must raise their hands/weapon (the "lantaner riffle") and say "boom" loudly. The slower player drops from the circle (so if the croucher is slower, than the two shooter, then she/he). The two, who remain at last must duel. They stand back-to-back, step forward ten, and when the GM claps they turn and shoot. The swifter is the winner.
I don't want to boast, but, amongst other things, myconids are good game masters too.

Edit: Figured it out. Nimran used a capital "i" rather than a lower case L
