Damage display in iwd2 style

In texts.

In iwd2 the text logs display the type of damage dealt and amount resisted (ex: player did 7 slashing damage to zombie (5 resisted)). Bg does not show the resisted or bonus damage parts, and damage type is only colored (and physical ones are all white). Iwd2 style is much more easier to read and gives more information - can we have such?

They do; as of v2.0, all our games display damage in the same way as IWD:EE.

That's great! Could you also make it so that, if an attack hits someone who has more than 100% resistance to the attack, it shows how much they heal? The damage display in the original Baldur's Gate did this (if someone healed 3 hit points from an attack, it said "Damage Taken (-3)"), so the enhanced edition should do it as well!

Even better: make it so that if you have more than 100% resistance, you don't get healed! It's not supposed to happen that way, it doesn't happen that way in PnP D&D, and it shouldn't happen that way according to the dictionary definitions of the words "percent" and "resistance."

Damage absorption might seem like a weird mechanic, but I'm pretty sure it was intentional, considering that it was mentioned in Icewind Dale: the description of the Mantle of the Coming Storm says that it "allows a wearer already immune to cold to absorb its power."
