Most customers won't post or even lurk on these boards.
I believe this can be solved by adding a 30 second-long non-skippable splashscreen at the start of all EE games that says "LURK MOAR" with huge letters.
Seriously though, that's a valid point, but I think that AI improvements should always be added if it makes sense thematically(meaning, a wizard should be smart, a ghoul should be stupid, etc.).
Maybe it's just me but I don't like it when lowering the difficulty setting makes enemies weaker or dumber, because if I win against someone who is weak or stupid, it's not so fun. Then it's better to make my character stronger, I think(or better items, better party members, or such).
To put it in another way, if the regular difficulty setting is hunting rabbit with a hunting rifle, then lowering the difficulty setting by making enemies weaker/dumber would be hunting snails with a hunting rifle. Hunting snails doesn't sound fun. The lowering of the difficulty setting by making yourself more powerful, in this context, would then be hunting rabbit with a bazooka. Now that sounds a lot more fun than snails.
I would not mind rebalances and updates as much if it did not end up breaking a dozen completely unrelated things in the process.
2.0 feels like somebody accidently dropped 1.3 down two sets of stairs in terms of useability.
(sorry for this unhelpful post)
That may be true. for some aspects. But that's why it is still in beta and there are plenty of threads to discuss on what the community likes or dislikes.
