Weird error message?

This error appeared when reporting multiple topics for spam recently and is haphazardly sometimes preventing me from making posts?

"You have posted 1 times within 60 seconds. A spam block is now in effect on your account. You must wait at least 300 seconds before attempting to post again."

The error message doesn't really make much sense... I have posted once so I am banned from posting for 300 seconds? o_O harsh man! Also this ban seems to be lasting a lot longer than 300 seconds... is attempting to post within the 300 second period resetting the timer back to 300 seconds? Or is the error message just completely wrong?

That other thread didn't answer your comment about it lasting longer than 300 seconds. It lasts a real long time. After I made my first thread https://forums.beamdog.com/discussion/62824/new-user-here-i-shall-share-my-experience-of-registering-for-the-forums it became permanent no more threads again.
