Quick Save Slots Tweaks 1.5

This mod will let you choose between having 1 to 4 quick save slots.

    I used it and quick saves stopped working at all (BG2).

    I'm about to upload two different downloads - one for SoD and one for BG2EE. Let me know if the BG2EE one works.

    Yea BG2EE has probably different string references. So it was just a dumb mistake on my part. Glad to hear its working.

    I don't really know much about IE modding, but aren't 2da really important main files? If beamdog makes an update, is it going to screw up things or just not get updated at all? I don't wanna miss out updates or break my stuff.

    A small weidu mod that replaces the 4's with 1's would work regardless of game version / patches.

    If you edit the .2da file in @elminster 's fix, yes.

    I'll search around my computer to see if I have a copy (it wasn't a particularly in-depth mod so I'm not sure I do). In the meantime if anyone has a copy of the mod and is willing to post it I'd appreciate it.

    Here is the BG2 version, I couldn't find the others. Just found the SoD version too!

    Hello!
    I want to thanks for this mod. It's much better now, when I play with one quick than with too much quick saves which I remembered that so much quick save had also game Witcher.
    Anyway thank you.:)

    So I got off my butt and made this so that it is slightly less hacky.

    Seems like GAME_IS ~sod~ doesn't work with weidu 240 yet, so for the time being players will still have to be careful not to install the wrong version.

    But anyways, a weidu version of the mod is up now (same link as above). It will now let you choose between having 1-4 saves.

    I have a quick question about the mod Quick Save Slots Tweak. Are there more hotkeys for the quick saves or does it still only use the Q button and save consecutive quick saves?

    And it never will. I believe you can use GAME_INCLUDES ~SoD~ to differentiate between [ BGEE with SoD ] vs. [ BGEE without SoD. ]

    No, subtledoctor is right, "sod" cannot be used for GAME_IS, only for GAME_INCLUDES. Read weidu doc.

    Lol, ok, you are correct, I misread the statement. I didn't know it was possible to play SoD without BGEE.
