Casting spells with armor on

Not sure where to put this, but I seemed to have found a game breaking bug with the new patch. I was on my fighter/illusionist and I noticed I was able to cast spells with my Splint Mail on. Now only the quick spell slots that I had marked blindness and sleep seem to be able to cast. However, when clicking on the spell casting hotkey which leads me to my spells, they are shaded and unable to cast. I tried taking the armor off and back on, and while it says "wizard spells are disabled", it still allows me to cast the quick spells I added to the bar.

I am unsure how I did this, though I suspect it happened when I added the spells to the quick spell slots when the armor was off.
