Auto trap detection

Using Steam v2.0.62.2, my newly created bounty hunter's find traps can not be turned off...it is always on. From a post last month, it mentioned it as a beta bug.

Is there a fix for it now?

    It might be the characters AI. Either turn AI off (A key), or go into the Character sheet (R) then click Scripts and deselect advanced AI options or select a different script to suit.
