BG:EE Weird Party Effects After Update

First, let me just say that I've never had any mods installed for this game.

In my current game, the party members are all about level 5-6. When I loaded my game a couple days ago, for the first time since the big recent update, I noticed that all of my party members have a list of unexplained effects for no apparent reason.

Now, all my party members have the following:

1. 25 Strength
   
2. Invulnerable
   
3. Negative Plane Protection
   
4. Resist Fear
   
5. Protection from Poison
   

So, no mods, no cheats, or anything like that. My party is Jaheira, Khalid, Imoen, and my PC. When I loaded my save, I was literally just about to fight Davaeorn. I tried resting over and over to see if the effects would wear off but it has not. I play the game through Steam and am running it on Windows 10.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. One thing I was wondering is if there is some kind of console command I could use to just manually remove the effects if need be. Thanks!

Turn off Story Mode.

That was it! Ha! Thank you so much! I suppose it was switched on after the update somehow... Never even knew there was a "story mode" until now. Everything's back to normal now.
