[Known] BG EE All my party suddenly acquired 25 strength

I just did an update 80% through a game and somehow, shortly after this I noticed my party got 25 strength plus other buffs. I don't recall doing anything, or being offered any kind of a cheat. How did I do this and how do I get rid of the buffs? thanks for any responses.
