[Resolved] BG:EE crashes when clicking "load"

So that's pretty much it. The game crashes when i click "load." I tried this in the 2.0 version, Sod, and then i installed the new 2.1 beta version, and still the same thing.
EDIT: i will try a new clean install, if that helps

    Try renaming your Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition folder in Documents, and let the game create a new one.

    @Maick90 please could you advise if still an issue.

    If so, can we have additional details please.
    * Platform (PC, Mac, Linux)
    * Operating System
    * Store (Steam, Beamdog, GoG)
    * Whether you have Cloud saves enabled
    * If you have any characters other than a-z, space or 0-9 in any save names
    * Thanks
