With my first caracter, a shitty fighter with 18/00 strengh; if i have good strengh i will be strong, 18 intelligence; my character must be smart and like 8-12 in each of the other stats; constitution? dexterity? wisdom? charisma? what do those words even mean?? they don't sound important I was like 7 back then
my greatest moment with this guy was when in my first time playing, with my first character, I killed my first ennemy : Carbos! I felt so f***ing powerfull and that all the game would be so easy because I oneshoted him, but then, i got killed by the wolf :P
My most recent playthrough of the saga, I recall getting out of the Nashkel Mines and buffing up my party to take on the people who assault you on your way out of the zone. I always recalled that fight being particularly difficult. As soon as it started, I lobbed in a Hold Person with Xan or Branwen or someone, and it affected the entire enemy party. Fight was over before I knew it and I was just laughing at the amount of time I spent buffing my party up before hand.
Last time I played that fight I had Montaron and Coran simultaneously backstab the ranged chicks in their party. Taking care of the two clerics after that was rather easy I must say.
Hmmm. It's a lot of years back, and so much of BG1 stands out. The whole opening campaign, from the desperate search for the Friendly Arm, meeting Khalid and Jaheira, heading south and meeting Minsc, rescuing Dynaheir and then completing the Naskel Mines, returning to town all bloodied, only to get punked by that axe-throwing dude in front of the Inn. Good times.
