in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
So Edwin and Minsc in the same party is not possible as they eventually will kill each other or say choose me or him? Is this right or not?

    Yeah, they will eventually try to kill each other unless you use the console to trick the game into thinking that they already tried to kill each other in which case they will not try again. I will look up the proper code.

    Ahh ok that is a bit sad. I assumed it was as I recall in past games having a certain man try and kill a certain person right in the middle of a deep dungeon dive. I guess it is best to just go all good then.

    Enter the following code with your cursor over Edwin and they will not fight. Make sure your cursor is on top of Edwin when you press enter or it will not work.

    Isn't killing dynaheir before talking to the two of them enough for them to never fight ?

    my bad (i tend to open bg1 and bg2, then open all interesting discussion in like 10 tab, and read :p)

    Anyway if it's for bg2 I never had such a problem between minsc and edwin (which misslead me even further)
    Is it always happening ? I almost always take minsc, cause he is so funny, and tend to take edwin only 1/4th 1/5th of the time. Is it related to some event, or reputation... ?

    I had Minsc in the party when I first met Edwin in BG2 there is some rage and hate in that meet up so I was reluctant to keep both for long as I recall having two other opposing even counter on the immortal service who seemed fine and then later far removed from any stop point went and killed each other... Sadly now I never have both in my party since that was prebedawg days but I assssume it still has that fun errrr chunky terrible violence reaction.... Strange as Korgan an self confessed torturing killer gets along with any and everyone in the game but I guess that is because it would be even more of a bother if every character hated and killed at least one or two other characters.
