I'm not buying it because I refuse to support the SJW and feminazi agenda. And even if it's only in 0.01% of the game, which I doubt based on the numerous reviews I've read, that would still be enough for me to avoid the game.

The point of the thread is to let the developers and community know that Beamdog lost a little money today for pandering to extreme left-wing politics.

Thirdly, even without the SJW and feminazi garbage, according to the reviews I've read, the game isn't very good... 78 on Metacritic + SJW = not a good game. User score on metacritic is 3.6 lol...

This forum has discussed this issue exact to death. And the general consensus, after more folks played the expansion, was that the "SJW issue" was massively overblown (read: non-existent) and that there is zero "feminazi garbage".

But, hey...way to judge a book by...not even its actual cover, but by the falsified cover presented by the idiots who started the "controversy". (Most of said idiots have NOT even played the game.)

@Fardragon at this point I have lost interest in arguing. The more we indulge all of this childish behaviour the more it will happen. Hence why I'm just smiling and accepting it as just the norm on these forums at the moment. I prefer just to try to get along with everyone.

That's not much of a consensus. Not everyone who has played the game post on these forums. If I had to guess, a very small number of people who have played the game post on these forums. And from my experience the people who regularly post on forums like this are fanboys.

Yeah, it's the number after 77 and before 79. 78 doesn't equal the range of 70-85 by the way. If the game got an 85 then that would be good. But it didn't It got a 77. And its userscore is 3.6. So why would I buy a medicore game that promotes extreme left-wing politics?

This is a bad test because it is highly possible that a person could play and even beat Baldur's Gate, but then forget about this information. The last time I played through the original Baldur's Gate was maybe 5 years ago. However, I did purchase the enhanced edition of Baldur's Gate not too long ago and I just started playing it. The "controversial" part of the writing is less than 1000 words. Entire expansion content has 500,000 words of writing. If that all it takes for you to not buy this expansion, then maybe it is for the best for this community.

I didn't even mention the trans-gender character which by the way isn't bad in itself. It's the way it was done. It's done in a way to promote it. That's also not the only example of SJW and feminazism in this expansion, unfortunately.

And you seem to have missed the point of the analogy. It's not that what Beamdog did is as bad as promoting Nazism. It's that it's ridiculous to tell somebody they're missing out on refusing to buy a game that promotes idiotic political viewpoints.
